Welcome to the Joe Anderson Memorial Ride website!

July 1, 2014

Hello Riders, Friends and Family,

On behalf of the Joe Anderson Memorial Ride planning committee, Joe’s family has decided to take a “break” this year and not host a ride in 2014. The hope is that family and friends can “re-energize” to host more rides in the future to honor Joe.

The family is blessed and thankful of all of the riders, sponsors and supporters over the last five years.  Almost 400 riders combined have participated in the Joe Anderson Memorial Ride.  In addition to remembering Joe, the event has raised money for the UW-Madison Carbone Cancer Research Center and the Joe Anderson Memorial Scholarship. Since 2011, the scholarship fund has awarded seven $250 scholarships to Marshall High School seniors.

When riding this summer, please ride safe and remember one of Joe’s favorite songs “It’s a great day to be alive” by Travis Tritt.

Sincerely,
The Joe Anderson Memorial Ride Planning Committee
